The Lord of the Rings Fanatics Network was started by Philip Kooijman in May 2001 with the purpose of being a platform for all kinds of Tolkien Fanatics. As the popularity of these sites grew we had to invest more and more in time and in money to keep the sites running. At this moment all three sites are hosted on a dedicated server. To make sure that the costs did not become to much to bare the shop has been added and we have started to run some advertising on second level pages. This is how you can help:

We have created the Lord of the Rings Fanatics Shop as a way to keep Fans posted on all the products that are available and as a source of income. The Shop basically offers an overview of all products available often with reviews and specials. We also give affiliate links to merchants that sell those products. Everytime you purchase a product by first clicking our links in the shop we will earn a commission. This commission is not taken in any way from the price that you have to pay for the products and is an easy and fun way to enjoy Lord of the Rings related products while supporting our cause financially.

You could do what many other Tolkien Fanatics did: contribute content to the site. For instance essays, artwork, poetry. Anything you see fit. We always acknowledge the source and you name will be mentioned on the bottom of every page you contribute and your name will be mentioned in the About Us contributors list.
